Father's Day Projects, Part 2
Do you like this story?
If you missed my earlier post on Father's Day Crafts you can check it out here.
This past week I've been working on my last project for Father's Day and I got it all finished today so I thought I'd share it with you. I thought it would be super cute if I took pictures of the kids wearing Daddy's old work boots and display them in a frame with the saying "With Every Step, I try so hard to Walk in Your Shoes..."
This is how it turned out (not the best picture, I know):
Here is a close-up of the saying I came up with. I don't have a Silhouette or anything fancy (I know, GASP!) so I just had to improvise and print it out on my computer. I am happy with how it turned out.
The only difficult part of the project was finding a frame that had four 4x6 photos in it all facing the same direction. There were tons of cute frames with 3 pictures, but the only place I was able to find one with 4 pictures was online at Target. My kids did such a good job with the photo shoot. I am a picture fanatic so they always cringe when I want to take pictures. I promised them we would only take pictures in one spot at Wheeler Farm at the very beginning and then I would put away my camera and we could enjoy walking around. It worked out great! Here are the close-ups of the photographs I used in my frame.
I can't believe it's already been a year since last Father's Day. Last year we made Daddy some special TNT Bombs filled with candy since he is so "Dynamite". You can check that out here if you are interested.
Happy Crafting!!
